Alexandria French Photography
Alexandria photographs weddings for the nostalgic romantics. Cult cinema, 90s Vogue and raw documentary, shot on digital, 35mm and camcorder. Her brief asked for a website that didn't look like a website. We built it from scratch, with her own editor behind it, so every word and photo is hers to change.

The challenge.
Most wedding photography sites are the same template. A slideshow, a gallery grid, a contact form. Her couples choose her because she isn't the same, so the site couldn't be either.
Her brief was ten pages of mood boards: scrapbooks, film stills, letterpress type, paintings. It all had to feel like her without tipping into a gimmick.
She wanted to change things herself. Her photos, her words, even her colours and fonts, without waiting on anyone and without breaking the look.
Her old site already had a journal of blog posts and its own place on Google. All of it had to come across without losing a visitor.
Our approach.
Built from scratch, not on a theme. A pale paper ground, her own palette of olive and oxblood with a lime pop, wide-set capitals and handwritten notes in the margins.
The site moves like a film. Full-screen photographs with type laid over them, columns of images drifting past each other as you scroll, a reel of frames that pans sideways, and maroon breather pages between chapters.
The portfolio is a book you turn the pages of.
Every page ends on one soft question: would you like to begin? Enquiries land in her inbox and in her own dashboard, with one tap to call, WhatsApp or email back.
Behind it sits her own editor. She clicks any word or photo on the live page to change it, moves photos around her boards, uploads her own fonts and logo, and sets her colours from one settings page. Within weeks of launch she'd swapped photos all over the site herself.
Her journal came across post by post, every old address points to its new page, and each page has its own titles, descriptions and structured data for Google, plus a summary written for AI search.
Every photo is served at three sizes, so a couple scrolling on their phone gets the right one and the page doesn't drag.
The work.

Scroll inside the phone to explore the mobile layout.
Every page,its own chapter.
About, weddings, the journal, investment and enquiries, each one paced like a chapter rather than stacked like a template.

Made to be felt.
Boards of photographs, a film still with her notes over it, a diary of where she's travelling next, and a portfolio you turn the pages of.

More projects.
Harcon Solutions
Harcon Solutions are a specialist consultancy for construction, engineering and the railway, trading since 2017 with over 50 years of combined experience between them. Their old WordPress site looked the part but made people work to get in touch. We rebuilt it from scratch on their own look: 24 pages, Railway Asset Protection first, an enquiry form on every service page, and every old link still landing in the right place.
SBS Building & Damp Proofing
Richard Wright runs a family damp proofing and building firm in Sheffield, with over 25 years in damp proofing and 9.98 out of 10 on Checkatrade from 150 reviews. The old website stopped scrolling halfway down the page, so most visitors never reached the phone number. We rebuilt it from scratch: fifteen pages, damp surveys first, their own photos and their customers' own words.
PrimeCore Coaching
Pete Aspinall coaches men in their 30s and 40s online, after a professional rugby league career. We'd already done the PrimeCore rebrand and the weekly carousels. The Instagram was working, but the people it sent had nowhere to land except a booking link. We built one page to catch them: who it's for, the proof, how it works, then a call or an application.
